Lockdown Lessons!!

Updated: Apr 4, 2020

Everyone is at home. The whole state is in lockdown. The country is in quarantine. The world is social distancing, but during all this time people spend with their home what are we learning from this experience. As I navigate my ship through these unfriendly waters. I learn lessons through experience. Read more to find out!

There is more than one way to do things!

I have learned there is more than one way to do things. When I knew school is closed my teachers helped us move onto an online classroom. I gained the same knowledge as we did at school. We still get to meet our friends through video calls. This week I had fun at my friend’s birthday party. Guess how? Video call!

Don’t waste your food!

When the whole country is quarantined some panic and hoard supplies, without knowing that they are creating a shortage of supplies to those who need the most. The people who might come late to the store might not get what they need or not get anything at all! Those who have food to eat should be grateful. This treacherous time of the decade has thought me food is precious and “Don’t waste food”.

Technology culture for quarantine!

During this lockdown, I discovered how to do more with the internet. The internet may be tricky, but once you get used to it, it’s a piece of cake. I have discovered how to do a lot through this virtual world, socialize with my friends, teachers, online schooling, create folders and files, copy and paste, and mostly on how to use my email correctly. Don’t forget all the backspacing.

DIY’s

Throughout this lockdown, I have learned a lot of DIY’s related to stopping the spread of germs. I came to know that you can make a mask by using a paper towel, some staples and rubber bands, this could help people who are sick and require face masks. You can make your hand sanitizer too. During this time, I also learned how to make fun DIY crafts too. I wanted to pass my free time during Saturday and Sunday doing some fun crafts. Most of the time I do get it wrong and mess up the whole craft, but that’s only sometimes.

In conclusion, there could be many more things I will experience and learn during this part of the year, but these are some of the things I have learned until now from this lockdown. I hope that many will learn from this lockdown too. It would be great If you could share with us what you have experienced and learned during this quarantine in the comments below.
